Earlier this year, Bubble, a JAYE company run by six Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary students, participated in the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Company Programme and promised to donate part of its profits to the Inspire Foundation.

The team was made up of Francesca Gauci, managing director, Martha Vassallo, company secretary, Davinia Agius, sales director, Michaela Muscat, marketing director, Francesca Zammit, finance director, and Claudio Stewart, quality director.

While the programme has now come to an end, the company celebrated its success by donating €200 to Inspire. Bubble placed second runner-up and received the Best Quality System award after successfully manufacturing, marketing and selling personalised hand-made greeting cards that had a technological twist – a recording chip that allows customers to record a personalised message by pressing a button.

“Inspire is constantly working towards more inclusion of children and adults with disability, both in educational environments and at the workplace. But none of our work would be possible without the generous donations of individuals and companies such as this one,” said Claire Galea, fundraising manager at Inspire.
