Ahead of the annual carnival frivolity, Matt Hush launched his mini photo exhibition, Pageant of the Bizarre, at Maldonado Bistro, in Victoria.

The party was attended by more than 120 people who had the opportunity to experience some of the unique street portraits that Hush has taken over these past few years.

The collection experiments with a style of work that focuses on the individual, not the collective. The work is raw, exposing and individualistic, while capturing the emotion of the feast.

Pageant of the Bizarre is a mini-exhibition of a larger body of work and is on show at Maldonado Bistro until mid-February.
