Strada, the festival that celebrates Valletta with wine, music and art, will take place once again all along the gut of the capital, with a series of events that span art, music, food and drink.

Organised by Kris Fenech Soler and Philip Zammit, the event this year has expanded to include all the establishments that operate from Strait Street or adjacent to the area, mainly Trabuxu, Tico Tico, Jubilee, South Street, Wild Honey and Streat.

Strada Stretta will get a facelift, with paintings hung on its walls, fire-dancers and re-enactors transporting people back to older times, fjakkoli lighting up the street, artisan stalls set up and a selection of artists performing on all three days.

Two stages will be set up in the junction between Streat and Tico Tico, with a third near Trabuxu.

These will host different bands/musicians every night. Bars will be set up close to the stages, and tables and chairs will also be set up outside so that people can enjoy the festival.

Strada is taking place on Friday, Saturday and next Sunday along Strait Street, Valletta.
