The Eden Comedy Club is back for its 15th Stand Up Comedy Night on Friday.
The line-up for the night will feature top-notch acts from across the globe live on stage, including renowned headliner Jeremy O’Donnell, who mixes sharp one-liners with friendly storytelling and sparking off-the-cuff wit.
Also showcasing his comedic prowess is Alan Francis, a Scottish comedian who first came to notice after winning UK Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny award in 1991. His passions are properly flared when he talks about politics. In 1995, he co-wrote and co-starred in Jeffrey Dahmer is Unwell at the Edinburgh Festival and, in 2002, he presented his one-man show Clobbered there.
Last but not least is resident MC Geoff Whiting who has now become a household name in comedy, locally and abroad. Whiting is the founder of Mirth Control Comedy and has a wealth of experience in working at all notable comedy clubs in Europe. His funny, strong, versatile acts lend themselves to any occasion.
■ The evening is taking place on Friday at 8.30pm at the Eden Cinemas. Doors open at 7.30pm. For tickets and more information, visit edencinemas.com.mt or call 2371 0400.
