After the death of my father a few days ago, I feel compelled to write in order to express my sincerest gratitude towards the staff of Floriana residence for the elderly, where my father spent the last few years of his life.

In the name of my siblings as well as in my own name, I would like to single out the professionalism of all the staff at this residence. Even though our father was almost blind and suffered from various ailments associated with advanc­ed age, we know that he greatly appreciated the care he received from the staff.

Perhaps the greatest source of gratitude stems from the fact that our father never felt like just another patient. In our experience, the employees at this residence took care of our father in such a way that he felt that his human dignity was respected.

We pray and hope that all the resi­dents and their respective fami­lies have the same positive experience with the staff at the Floriana residence that we did.
