A reception to mark the feast day of St John the Baptist, patron saint of the Order, was held at the Embassy of the Order, St John’s Cavalier, Valletta. It was hosted for the first time by the new Chief of Mission, Prince Augusto Ruffo di Calabria and his wife Princess Tana de Windisch Graetz.

Among the guests, led by President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca and her husband Edgar, were Foreign Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela, Environment Minister Jose’ Herrera, Deo Debattista, Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer Protection and Valletta 2018, heads of diplomatic missions, members of the bench and members of the Maltese Association of the Order, together with their president, Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata.
