The Australian High Commission and Sport Malta will be holding a Sports Festival at the Marsa Sports Complex on Sunday between 9.30am and 12pm.

The Sports Festival will feature a variety of stations for children to try different sports, including football, cricket and Auskick.

The Auskick programme in Malta will be officially launched at the festival, with children having the opportunity to learn what the game is about and register for the sport. Sport Malta will be offering Auskick as part of its winter sports programme.

Also attending will be Parliamentary Secretary for Research, Innovation, Youth and Sport Chris Agius.

The sports festival is free and open to all children and their families.

During the event photos will be taken. Those who do not wish to be photographed are being asked to advise the Australian High Commission on the day.

Special thanks go to Balzan Football club, Malta Cricket and AFL (Australian Football League) for their support.

Skolasport Team may be reached on 2203 6000.
