Loughborough College has opened many doors for me both in terms of sports and academically. Studying to obtain my degree has not been easy. However, with hard work and determination I obtained this in June 2016.

In the scholastic year 2013/2014, my hard work was reflected in a commendation reward as I placed second among all students in the course year.

In the scholastic year 2014/2015 I also obtained very good results with an average mark of 65 per cent.

In June 2016, I graduated BSc (Hons) in applied sport science (management) with a degree classification of second class honours (upper division [2.1]).

It was an honour for me as a Maltese citizen to be given such an opportunity to study abroad.

In this respect, I thank the Malta Sports Scholarships within the Department of Education for believing in me to realisemy dreams.

This is greatly appreciated.

As a graduate in sports science from Loughborough University I have now moved back to Malta and intend to gradually pass on my knowledge and understanding to my compatriots, particularly, Maltese athletes.

It would most certainly be a privilege as well as an entitlement for me to work closely with other members of staff in the field of sport and address any issues for future generations.

In terms of career, I have no preference just yet, however, I’m quite flexible as a person and I am ready to do whatever is required that relates to sport to enhance and create sporting opportunities in Malta.
