Ramirez: Gaston Ramirez is set to return for Middlesbrough’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Riverside Stadium on Monday. Ramirez has missed Boro’s last two games with an ankle injury and is expected to go straight back into interim boss Steve Agnew’s starting line-up. Boro are still without Fabio and George Friend while Calum Chambers also misses out against his parent club.

Toy Pigs: Coventry’s clash with Charlton was delayed as both sets of fans threw toy pigs onto the pitch. The supporters of both struggling Sky Bet League One clubs were protesting against their respective owners. Just seconds before the game was about to start, hundreds of the toy pigs were thrown onto the playing surface and put kick-off back by seven minutes. When they were finally cleared, referee Darren Handley got the game under way.

Alcaraz: Lucas Alcaraz was named Algeria coach, three days after being dismissed by struggling Spanish side Granada. The Algerian Football Federation said it had appointed the 50-year-old, but did not give any details about the length or terms of the contract. Alcaraz, who has also worked at Levante and Elche, takes over from Belgian Georges Leekens who quit after Algeria’s early exit at the African Nations Cup finals in Gabon in January.

Oviedo: Full-back Bryan Oviedo is out of Sunderland’s Premier League clash with West Ham as he faces up to five weeks on the sidelines, the Premier League club said. Oviedo damaged a hamstring during last Sunday’s 3-0 home defeat by Manchester United and manager David Moyes fears he could be out for four to five weeks.
