Dost: Bas Dost has left Bundesliga club Wolfsburg to join Sporting Lisbon for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old, who joined the Wolves from Heerenveen in 2012 and scored 36 goals in 85 Bundesliga appearances, made his final appearance for the Bundesliga club in their 2-0 win at Augsburg on Saturday. “We have agreed to sell Bas Dost to Sporting because we managed to agree on the financial aspects of the transfer,” said Wolsburg’s director of sport Klaus Allofs on the Bundesliga club’s website.

Mauricio: Lazio defender Mauricio is heading to Russia to join Spartak Moscow, reports said yesterday. The Brazilian centre-back joined the Rome club from Sporting in January 2015 but his performances for the Biancocelesti have been criticised. Yesterday, La Gazzetta dello Sport said that the 27-year-old has agreed a move to Spartak Moscow.

Burke: German side Red Bull Leipzig have secured the signing of Oliver Burke from Nottingham Forest. Sky Sports reported yesterday that the fee for Burke is £13m, and the newly-promoted Bundesliga side confirmed the signing by posting a picture of the 19-year-old on their official Twitter account.

Slimani: Premier League champions Leicester City are in talks with Sporting Lisbon to sign Algeria forward Islam Slimani, the BBC reported yesterday. The English champions are reluctant to meet Sporting’s requested fee of £34.1m for the 28-year-old. Slimani, who fancies a Premier League move, has been at Sporting since 2013 and has scored 31 goals in 46 games for the club.

Crowd Trouble: Serbia’s top division match between champions Red Star Belgrade and Novi Pazar was marred by serious crowd trouble and racism as officials were forced to suspend play for 20 minutes midway through the second half yesterday. Trouble erupted when home Novi Pazar fans pelted the Red Star bench with fireworks and seats they had ripped from the stands after Red Star striker Predrag Sikimic injured the home side’s keeper Mladen Zivkovic.
