Januzaj: Sunderland have announced the signing of Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj on a season-long loan deal. Black Cats boss David Moyes has returned to his former club to land the 21-year-old Belgium international. The announcement comes the day after Moyes wrapped up the £5.5 million double signing of United defenders Paddy McNair and Donald Love.

De Vries: Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dorus de Vries has arrived in Glasgow as he looks to complete a move to Celtic. De Vries was pictured entering Ross Hall Hospital ahead of a medical after the Hoops agreed terms with the Championship club. Ighalo: Watford striker Odion Ighalo has signed a new five-year contract at Vicarage Road. The Nigeria international, who scored 17 goals in 42 appearances last season, had been linked with a move away this summer with West Brom reportedly keen on signing him. But the club have announced that Ighalo, 27, has followed Hornets captain and strike partner Troy Deeney in committing his future to the club until 2021.

King: Bournemouth announced that forward Josh King has signed a new four-year contract. The 24-year-old joined Eddie Howe’s Cherries on a three-year deal from Blackburn last summer but has been rewarded with an extension for an impressive first season at the Vitality Stadium. He was the team’s top goalscorer with seven goals in all competitions, including six in the Premier League which helped the south-coast side avoid relegation in their first ever top-flight campaign.

EFL Cup: Chris Lines hit a sublime long-range winner as Bristol Rovers earned themselves an EFL Cup second-round trip to Chelsea with a 1-0 extra-time victory over Cardiff late Thursday. The midfielder, who failed to score a single goal last season, found the top corner with a perfectly struck right-footed shot in the 115th minute of a closely fought clash at the Memorial Stadium.
