Mendy: France U-21 international Benjamin Mendy has joined Monaco from Ligue 1 rivals Marseille. The left-back, who started his career at Le Havre, has signed a five-year deal at Stade Louis II. Mendy, 21, made more than 80 appearances during his three years with Marseille and experienced Champions League and Europa League football at the Stade Velodrome.

New deals: West Ham United coaches Julian Dicks and Chris Woods have signed new two-year contracts with the club. Former Hammers full-back Dicks, a team-mate of manager Slaven Bilic in their playing days at Upton Park, was named first-team coach last summer. Ex-England keeper Woods has been goalkeeping coach at the club since last summer, working with first-choice Adrian and back-up Darren Randolph.

Gouaida: Tunisia midfielder Mohamed Gouaida has signed a one-year contract extension at Hamburg. The 23-year-old began his career at SC Freiburg before moving to the Volksparkstadion in 2014. Gouaida, who spent most of last season on loan at Karlsruhe, will now join Swiss side FC St Gallen on a one-year loan after committing his future to Hamburg until 2019.

Pellegrini: Departing Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been offered a job as the new Russia coach, according to reports. The Russian Football Association (RFS) has apparently targeted the 62-year-old after coach Leonid Slutski departed on Monday following Russia’s 3-0 defeat to Wales at Euro 2016 which resulted in his side crashing out of the tournament. The Chilean’s contract with City expires on June 30.

CAS appeal: Albanian league champions KF Skenderbeu have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after being banned from this season’s Champions League because of alleged match-fixing. In a statement CAS said the club, who won a sixth consecutive title last season, was appealing against a decision handed down by UEFA this month. Skenderbeu have been banned from all UEFA competitions for one season.

Aziz: Turkey international defender Serdar Aziz has joined Galatasaray from fellow Turkish club Bursaspor. The 25-year-old, who has represented his country nine times, has signed a four-year deal with Jan Olde Riekerink’s side. Aziz, who missed out on Turkey’s Euro 2016 squad, won the Turkish Super Lig title with Bursaspor in 2010.
