Feghouli: Winger Sofiane Feghouli has joined West Ham United on a free transfer from Spanish side Valencia on a three-year contract. The 26-year-old made over 200 appearances and scored 42 goals in his six seasons at Valencia since signing from French side Grenoble in 2010. Feghouli, who has been capped 40 times by Algeria, will join the London club on July 1.

Federici: Australian goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new three-year contract with Bourne-mouth that will keep him at the club until 2019. The 31-year-old made 12 appearances in all competitions last season after joining the Cherries in May 2015 and is ready to take up the challenge of competing against Polish international Artur Boruc for the first-choice goalkeeper’s spot.

Hall: Motherwell have confirmed they have failed in their bid to keep hold of defender Ben Hall after he opted for a move to English Championship outfit Bri-ghton. The 19-year-old joined Well in 2013 but has knocked back several new contract offers to stay at Fir Park. Hall is now heading to the Amex Arena after penning a two-year deal to work with Chris Hughton’s outfit.

Laporte: French central defender Aymeric Laporte has pledged his immediate future to Athletic Bilbao after signing a new four-year contract at the La Liga club. The Under-21 international had been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City by the Spanish and English media but the 22-year-old has opted to remain in Bilbao.

Petrescu: Former Romania and Chelsea wing back Dan Petrescu has signed a two-year contract to return as coach of Russian second-tier side Kuban Krasnodar, the club said in a statement yesterday. The 48-year-old was also in charge of Kuban from 2010-12. In his first season he took them back into the Premier League and then led the team to eighth place the following campaign.
