Terry: Chelsea captain John Terry says he is undergoing platelet rich plasma therapy in a bid to recover from his Achilles injury. The 35-year-old, who is out of contract this summer, has missed Chelsea’s last two matches, having only recently recovered from a hamstring problem which kept him out for six games. Terry posted a photo of himself in surgical scrubs on Instagram and used an emoticon of a syringe.
Banned: Equatorial Guinea have been kicked out of the 2020 women’s Olympic football tournament after a player was found to have used two passports with conflicting details, FIFA said. FIFA’s disciplinary committee held the Equatoguinean FA (Feguifut) liable for the use of a “forged or falsified” passport during last year’s qualifying tournament for the Rio Olympics.
Nkoulou: Marseille will be without defender Nicolas Nkoulou for the Coupe de France semi-final with Sochaux on April 20. The Came-roonian was shown a yellow card in Marseille’s 0-0 draw with Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on Sunday. Marseille confirmed that the booking would mean Nkoulou would be suspended for the Cup semi-final.
