Pulis: West Brom manager Tony Pulis will hold talks about his future with chairman Jeremy Peace at the end of the season despite having 18 months left on his contract. Pulis cast doubt on his future at the Hawthorns after the team were dumped out of the FA Cup by Reading on Saturday. “Let’s get through the season and let’s sit down and see where we go from there,” Pulis, who has never been relegated from the top flight, said when asked about his future.

Stewart: Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart has signed a new contract with the club. The Reds did not reveal the length of the deal when announcing it yesterday, but it is reported to take Stewart through to the summer of 2020, with the option of a further year. The 22-year-old has been with Liverpool since leaving Tottenham in 2014, although he only made his first-team debut for the Merseyside outfit in January.

Gonzalez: Former Albacete and Cordoba coach Jose Gonzalez has replaced Jose Ramon Sandoval as Granada boss. Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Valencia at Los Carmenes was a fourth on the spin in the league and left Granada rooted to the bottom of the table, where they are four points from safety, prompting Sandoval’s dismissal. The 47-year-old had managed to keep the Andalusians in La Liga last season but the club’s board have now opted to hand the reins to Jose Gonzalez until the end of the season.

Toure: Liverpool defender Kolo Toure is determined to fight for a new contract as his current deal enters its final weeks. As it stands the 34-year-old has three months left at Anfield as no new offer has been made by the club. “I’ve not been told anything,” said Toure. “I am a fighter. I’ve not had any offers for next season yet but if I keep playing like I am then I’m sure doors will open.”

Crimean Cup: FC Bakhchisaray beat SKChF Sevastopol 2-1 in the Crimean Cup final yesterday to become the first team to win the competition. The Crimean peninsula was annexed by Russia in March 2014 following unrest in Ukraine. Following a recommendation from UEFA, the independent Crimean Football Union (CFU) was set up. The first Crimean championship got underway in August with eight clubs competing in the Premier League.
