Kazim-Richards: Former Sheffield United and Blackburn striker Colin Kazim-Richards has been suspended by Feyenoord for threatening a journalist. Hoeness: Ex-Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness is to be released from jail on February 29, 21 months into a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence for tax evasion. Hoeness was found guilty of tax evasion in March 2014 after he admitted to holding funds in a secret Swiss bank account. The 64-year-old entered the Landsberg am Lech prison on June 2, 2014, although he has been on day release since the start of 2015 and only spent five nights a week in the prison for the past year.

Walter: Nice have agreed a deal with Nancy for defensive midfielder Remi Walter. The 20-year-old has made 71 appearances in Ligue 2 for Les Chardons but is now set to leave his local team for the Cote d’Azur. Nice have confirmed an agreement has been struck with Nancy for the France Under-21 international, who will complete his move after having a medical.

Bolton: Bolton have avoided moves in the High Court to have the club wound up immediately. The club, who are at the bottom of the Championship and owe HM Revenue and Customs £2.2 million, were given until February 22 to find a rescue scheme.

Hendon: Ian Hendon has been sacked as head coach of League Two side Leyton Orient. The O’s have managed just one win in their last eight league matches and were beaten 3-1 at home by Exeter on Saturday. Hendon was appointed during the close season as a replacement for Fabio Liverani.
