Serie B: The draw for the 2013-14 Serie B season in Italy will be made on Thursday in Palermo. The Sicilians are one of the most attractive clubs in the division following their relegation last season. The new Serie B campaign begins on August 24 and wraps up on May 31 next year.
Brayford: Cardiff have completed the signing of defender John Brayford from Derby on a four-year contract. The Bluebirds had already agreed a fee for the 25-year-old, believed to be around the £1.5m mark, and the formalities of the deal have been quickly wrapped up.
Mohsni: Bilel Mohsni wants to be known as one of the men who help return top-level football to Ibrox after signing a two-year contract with Rangers. The French-Tunisian, who was a free agent after leaving Southend, has played in every game of Rangers’ pre-season campaign on a trial basis. “I’m very happy to sign for Rangers. I think it is a chance to prove that I can play in the top league. It would be amazing to be one of the players who help Rangers back to where they belong.”
Hector: Aberdeen have signed 21-year-old Reading centre-back Michael Hector on loan for the first half of the season. The defender has had previous loan spells at Barnet, Aldershot and Cheltenham.
Dragovic: Austria full-back Aleksandar Dragovic has signed a five-year deal with Dynamo Kiev after moving from Swiss club Basel for an undisclosed fee. Dragovic helped Basel reach the semi-finals of the Europa League last season. The Serbian-born player made his debut for Austria in a World Cup qualifier against the country of his birth in June 2009.
