BOCCHETTI: Italian full-back Salvatore Bocchetti is set to join Spartak Moscow from Russian Premier League rivals Rubin Kazan. “Spartak and Rubin have agreed for a transfer of Salvatore Bocchetti. If he passes a medical, the Italian will sign a contract early next week,” the Moscow club said.

BANGURA: Celtic striker Mo Bangura, 23, has joined Elfsborg on loan for the 2013 Swedish season. Bangura recently returned from a loan spell at former club AIK last month but failed to force his way into the starting line-up, despite scoring in a friendly against Steaua Bucharest this month.

POTTS: West Ham defender Daniel Potts has thanked well-wishers for their support after leaving hospital following his head injury scare. Teenager Potts returned home late Thursday following the blow he suffered in his side’s 5-1 defeat at Arsenal. Potts said: “A big thank you to everyone for their support and messages. Hopefully I am looking to feeling better over the next days.”

NGOO: Hearts say they are “poised to sign” Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo on loan until the end of the season. Ngoo is set to follow Anfield team-mate Danny Wilson in signing for Hearts this month after their transfer embargo was lifted. Hearts can only sign under-21s on a one-in, one-out basis and have the ability to add to Wilson’s capture following the departures of Ryan McGowan and Peter Enckelman.

RICHARDSON: Fulham mid-fielder Kieran Richardson will miss the chance to take on former club Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round today. The 28-year-old suffered a calf injury in last weekend’s defeat at Manchester City and will not be fit in time for the game at Old Trafford, although he is likely to return to training next week.

INSUA: Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal to sign left-back Emiliano Insua from Sporting Lisbon. Insua is the man to whom coach Diego Simeone has turned to fortify his defence, with the 24-year-old needing only to pass a medical before the deal is completed.
