FLORO FLORES: Striker Antonio Floro Flores has joined Primera Division side Granada on a one-season loan deal from Udinese. Flores joined the Friuli outfit from Arezzo in 2007 but has struggled to earn a regular place under coach Francesco Guidolin. Flores, who is under contract with the Friuli outfit for another four years, scored four goals in 26 league appearances for Udinese this season.

ARSENAL: Arsenal have signed a three-year partnership with African mobile network operator Airtel for rights across five markets on the continent. Airtel will be able to utilise official Arsenal merchandising, hospitality and content rights in Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Uganda and Rwanda, as well as being the mobile operator of the 2012 Arsenal Tour to Nigeria.

FRIENDLY: Manchester United will tackle old foes Barcelona in a high-profile pre-season friendly in Gothenburg on August 8. The pair have met in two of the last four Champions League finals, plus the 2008 semi-final. More recently, they met in Washington last summer as part of pre-season preparations for the 2011-12 campaign.

GARRIDO: Osasuna have agreed a three-year deal for defender Alejandro Arribas Garrido, the club have announced. Madrid-born Garrido, 23, arrives on a free transfer having spent the last two seasons playing for Osasuna’s Primera Division rivals Rayo Vallecano. Garrido has already passed his medical as he becomes the Pamplona-based club’s third signing for the 2012/13 season after Nano and Sisi.

PETRIC: Fulham have comp-leted the signing of Croatia forward Mladen Petric, the English Premier League club announced yesterday. The 31-year-old has joined the London side on a free transfer, signing a one-year deal, from Hamburg, where his contract recently expired.
