Diawara: Marseille centre-back Souleymane Diawara will be out for up to six months after undergoing surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament next week. The 33-year-old Senegalese international was forced off after just six minutes of his side’s 1-1 draw at Nice on Saturday after spraining his right knee in an early challenge.

Borini: Roma striker Fabio Borini is due to face up to three weeks in the treatment room after being diagnosed with a hamstring strain yesterday. The 20-year-old - formerly with Chelsea and a loan spell with Swansea – was forced off with the problem during Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Milan.

N’Zogbia: Aston Villa winger Charles N’Zogbia is facing a month out of action with a knee problem. N’Zogbia is to see a specialist in his native France to try and assess the extent of the setback suffered in a training ground collision with mid-fielder Gary Gardner last week.

Sinclair: Swansea winger Scott Sinclair will sit down to discuss a new contract at the end of the season. The former Chelsea man, 23, has scored seven goals in Swansea’s maiden Premier League campaign to help the club to 10th place in the table and almost guarantee survival.

Henry: Thierry Henry scored twice as the New York Red Bulls beat the Colorado Rapids 4-1 to earn their first win of the season. After two away defeats, New York put on a show in their opening home game of the campaign as they plundered two goals in the first six minutes against opponents who had won their first pair of games.

Juve: Juventus, with Antonio Conte as coach, have now gone 29 games unbeaten in Serie A following their 2-0 win over Inter on Sunday – one more than the previous record. The best unbeaten run in the league prior to this season stood at 28 matches when Fabio Capello was in charge of the Bianconeri during the 2005-06 campaign.

Serie B: Vicenza vs Padova 0-1.

Primera Liga: Granada vs Sevilla 0-3.
