Reus: Borussia M’gladbach star Marco Reus declared himself fit to play in today’s Bundesliga trip to Kaiserslautern after a groin injury. “I don’t feel any more pain and I feel ready to play,” said Reus, Gladbach’s top scorer with 13 goals this season.

China move: Nicolas Anelka is optimistic he will be joined at Shanghai Shenhua by former Chelsea strike partner Didier Drogba this summer. Drogba has turned down a one-year extension to his current deal at Stamford Bridge, which expires at the end of the season, when he would become a free agent. Anelka said: “Yes, I often contact him. If all goes well, he should be able to come to Shanghai.”

Renard: Frenchman Herve Renard is set to extend his contract with Zambia by two years, just days after guiding the country to its first African Cup of Nations title. Renard, whose contract was due to expire this year, will remain as Zambia coach until after the 2014 World Cup. This week, Renard told reporters that he had received job offers from Senegal, UAE and Saudi Arabia among other countries.

Davies: Bolton Wanderers forward Kevin Davies has been ruled out of today’s FA Cup fifth-round tie at Millwall due to a knee injury. Wanderers manager Owen Coyle revealed that Davies sustained medial ligament damage in last Saturday’s 2-1 league loss to Wigan.

Schelotto: Ezequiel Schelotto, 22, will be seeking a move to a bigger club at the end of the season, his agent revealed. The Atalanta midfielder is a promising talent with Inter and Juventus already linked with a move to get his signature. “I think something could happen in June,” Fernando Cosentino said. “We were contacted by a number of teams in January, but, in agreement with Atalanta, we decided to stay for now.”
