MAJSTOROVIC: Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic has won an appeal against his red card issued in last weekend’s Scottish Premier League win against Inverness. The Swede was shown a straight red by referee Steven McLean in the second half at Parkhead for a “last man” challenge on Inverness midfielder Jonny Hayes. But Majstorovic was cleared by a disciplinary tribunal yesterday and will be in the squad for Sunday’s league match away to Edinburgh club Hibernian.

KAGAWA: Borussia Dortmund have been dealt an injury blow with the news that in-form midfielder Shinji Kagawa could be out for several weeks. The Japan international has suffered torn ankle ligaments. Coach Jurgen Klopp said that the injury is likely to keep him out for at least a fortnight.

PORTSMOUTH: Portsmouth are expected to outline details of an application to go into administration at a High Court hearing today. Portsmouth bosses said earlier this week that the club had applied to go into administration and a hearing is listed at the High Court in London. Two years ago, Portsmouth became the first Premier League club to enter administration.

HUDDERSFIELD: Lee Clark and his coaching staff have been sacked by Huddersfield after just over three years at the club.Huddersfield slipped to fourth place in the race for automatic promotion from League One after losing 1-0 at home to Sheffield United on Tuesday night, their first defeat in 10 league matches.

ROBSON: Barry Robson has confirmed he will leave M’Boro in the summer to join Major League Soccer side the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Scotland midfielder, 33, has penned a pre-contract agreement and will move to Canada in July, bringing an end to a two-and-a-half-year spell at the Riverside having signed from Celtic in 2010.
