Goetze: Borussia Dortmund’s rising German star Mario Goetze is expected to be out for up to eight weeks as the midfielder’s groin injury is worse than first thought. A stress injury of the pubic bone has been confirmed by both Dortmund doctor Markus Braun and national team-doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt.

Pompey: Portsmouth have been hit with a winding up order by British authorities over failure to pay a £1.6m tax bill. The Championship club, whose financial problems have left them teetering on the brink of extinction in recent years, now face a new fight for survival following the petition by HM Revenue and Customs.

Erding: Stade Rennes have reached an agreement with leaders Paris SG for Turkish international striker Mevlut Erding. The 24-year-old will undergo a medical in Rennes today before signing a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Kapo: Auxerre have signed former France winger Olivier Kapo on an 18-month contract. The 31-year-old has been a free agent since unsuccessful short spells with Celtic and Qatar’s Al-Ahli last season.

Resino: Granada have appointed former Atletico Madrid boss Abel Resino as their new coach until the end of the season following the dismissal of Fabri Gonzalez. Resino, 51, takes over a side who, having won promotion to the top flight last season, are just a point above the relegation zone.

Ginter: Matthias Ginter has been rewarded for his goal in Freiburg’s 1-0 win over Augsburg at the weekend by being given a full-time professional contract with the club. The 18-year-old was one of several players drafted into the first team by their new coach Christian Scheich.

Kouemaha: Kaiserslautern will have to continue their relegation battle without on-loan striker Dorge Kouemaha, who has been ruled out for six weeks with an abductor injury. The 28-year-old picked up the injury in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Werder Bremen.

Ooijer: Ajax defender Andre Ooijer has been ruled out for up to four weeks with a calf injury. The veteran centre-back suffered the problem in training last Friday. Ooijer will definitely miss his side’s Eredivisie clashes with Feyenoord and FC Utrecht.
