Ta’ Marija restaurant in Mosta is planning a special carvery buffet menu for Father’s Day, with over 50 dishes to choose from, including a number of traditional Maltese sweets and delicacies.

Ta’ Marija also offers live entertainment and Father’s Day lunch will be no different, with mandolin and guitar players accompanying the diners throughout lunch.

For the occasion, there will also be a special children’s buffet menu at a reduced price. The menu for the day is €22.50 per person.

The family-run restaurant, offers an authentic taste of Maltese and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant appeal combines the elements of Maltese cuisine with a lively atmosphere.

Traditional dishes offered include sfineċ (dumplings), ravjul (ravioli), fenek moqli (fried rabbit) and braġjoli (meat olives) together with signature dishes like summien (quail marinated in Maltese honey served with a parmesan and mushroom risotto), klamar mimli (stuffed squid, fried baby squid served with linguine with squid ink) and majjal il-forn (pork fillets with spinach and pine nuts in breadcrumbs, served with a fresh pepper and mustard sauce) from the à la carte menu.

Ta’ Marija hosts a rabbit night every Thursday, a Maltese night with folk dancing and live Maltese music on Wednesdays and Fridays, and its Saturday dinners and Sunday family lunches at €22.50 per person. On these days, the fifth person dining eats free.
