M Space, home to the Masquerade School for the Performing Arts, has been hailed as the new culture venue in Msida.
Director Anthony Bezzina called it a decisive step in Masquerade’s development, aiming to establish a hub for creativity and exchange.
The building, which was opened by Culture Minister Mario de Marco, includes 10 state-of-the-art studios, rehearsal and administrative facilities.
It incorporates an intimate theatre space – Blue Box – with audience viewing on two levels.
It can be used for conferences, workshops, installations, projections and exhibitions. The building is equipped with the latest internet technology to facilitate real-time participation and interaction at an international level.
