My wife and I have just gone through the booklet which Arriva has sent us and to our disappointment we realised the direct service to Mater Dei is to be discontinued.

At present, Bus No. 110 comes from Birżebbuġa and passes through various places before arriving at Tarxien where we live. Then it goes on to Guardamangia and eventually to Mater Dei and University. On the way, it picks up students for the Junior College and University.

With the arrival of Arriva, we residents of Tarxien have to catch a bus to Paola to go to Mater Dei!

We are an elderly couple and have to go frequently to Mater Dei. The direct service, come rain or shine, is so accommodating to us. We have lodged a formal complaint with customer care of Arriva and hopefully, it won’t fall on deaf ears!

We appeal to all those who can help us, such as politicians, mayors, councillors, etc. to add their voices to ours. We elderly don’t deserve to be ignored!
