Considering the acute parking situation on these islands, can we really afford all these yellow lines, both double and single?

On one-way streets, at the part where vehicles exit, there is no need to leave block so much space on corners, preventing the creation of more parking spaces. And can parking on both sides of the road, where possible, be arranged? Where traffic is not so acute, can we do away completely with yellow lines, especially double ones?

It is a known fact that buses do not use their bays. They stop in the middle of the road anyway! So why are we wasting so many precious parking spots? We are definitely in dire need of a serious study to be organised by professionals and to go into this challenge! It is not correct to just mark all the roads without sense and logic just because that is the way it’s done!
