A seminar for qualified Environ stock-ists was recently held at Xara Lodge in Rabat.

It was hosted by Sandra Calafato, distributor of Environ Skin Care products in Malta, and Des Fernandes, a reconstructive plastic surgeon and founder of Environ Skin Care, who came to Malta from South Africa to attend the Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery International League congress at the Westin Dragonara Resort, where he lectured on medical needling.

Beauty therapists were delighted to meet Dr Fernandes in person and were impressed by his extensive knowledge and readiness to share his insights on anti-ageing skin care.

Dr Fernandes discussed his views on his ground-breaking research into free radicals and antioxidants, which began in 1988, explaining the benefits of the daily intake of Vitamin A, responsible for regulating DNA health in every cell of our body.

Environ was one of the first to introduce high levels of Vitamin A in a cosmetic product scientifically proven to fight wrinkles and a step-up dosage system to prevent skin irritation caused by using such high levels of Vitamin A.
