As part of the build-up to the new season and closure of the summer programmes of training and activities, the Sirens ASC swimming team, consisting of 27 young members, have just attended a training camp in Loutraki, Greece.

Apart from training, the ‘Greek experience’ also included friendly games against players from the Nireas Waterpolo Club.

In Greece, team-building exercises, cultural visits and leisure activities were also held throughout the seven-day training camp.

Walter Balzan, Malta’s ambassador to Greece, also visited the Sirens ASC contingent of swimmers, officials and accompanying parents in Loutraki.

He augured the Sirens swimmers success.

Balzan also met camp director Spiros Karavoulis.

Similar youth and sport exchanges in future, where the embassy could serve as a bridge between the two countries, were discussed between the two parties.
