On a recent trip to Sliema, my first since the upgrade, I was amazed at what I found. St Anne’s Square that replaced the Magic Kiosk is splendid while Bisazza Street is a delight to wander down. A big and well-deserved well done to those involved. One very small criticism would be that in Bisazza Street there is seating for about 160 people but only eight litter bins and no fireproof ashtrays at all, hence, there are a lot of papers and cigarette ends scattered around.
Also, at the top of Bisazza Street, in Tower Road, the new memorial fountain is very nice but there is no seating while the area is large enough to accommodate a few benches.
