It is so frustrating to keep pointing out Transport Malta’s glaring instances of a lack of road signage falling under its jurisdiction.

No action is taken despite the fact that the matter has been brought to the attention to its top echelons, namely senior management.

I am mainly referring to signage to mark the exits on prominent roads like the Mrieħel Bypass up to Marsa and the Regional Road, a matter that I have been pointing out to Transport Malta for about two years.

I really pity tourists trying to find their way around Malta. I even brought the matter to the attention of the Malta Tourism Authority to exert some leverage on Transport Malta, but to no avail. This is a real shame.

I wonder how the priorities of the signage department are set up? I also suggested some sort of alert system, like the emissions alert, to inform Transport Malta of signage inadequacies. But it all seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
