There’s a very good reason why an airline captain speaks with such a soothing voice: it’s to let his passengers rest assured that all is in control. If, instead, the airline captain started shouting the way Prime Minister Joseph Muscat did in Parliament the other day then, instantly, everyone would know that something was seriously wrong. The first thing to come to mind is that we are about to crash.

Apart from that, opting to shout and to play the bully, Dom Mintoff style, in this day and age will not befit the sophisticated architecture of the new Parliament, so to speak.
