Customers who walk into a shop that displays a Trust You sticker should expect nothing less than excellent service, according to a new trial scheme launched by the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs’ Authority.

Businesses awarded the trust mark will pledge to abide by a code of conduct aimed at improving the relationship between the seller and the buyer.

The code will ensure consumers are provided with a good service, including after-sales. It will be displayed in a prominent spot in the establishment for customers to see. Feedback and suggestions about the scheme can be made to the authority until the end of the year.
