Shireburn Software managing director John de Giorgio addressed the Airports Council International Economics and Finance Conference in Singapore earlier this month. He gave a presentation about maximising retail and food and beverage performance within airport terminals through the application of business intelligence.

Revenues from retail and food and beverage concessions usually represent over 30 per cent of an airport’s revenue and often cover the losses made from the actual airport’s core aviation sector business and airports are increasingly focusing on this revenue sector.

Shireburn Software also exhibited its Concessionaire Analyser+ software solutions that enable airports to analyse retail sales patterns and help concessionaires to boost sales and thus airport revenue.

Shireburn Software continues to market CA+ successfully overseas and is in the middle of its third deployment of the solution. It will be showcased at upcoming international events including the ACI Regional Airports Conference and Exhibition in Lyon this week, and the ACI Europe Airport Trading Conference in Hamburg next week.

With a 34-strong team, Shireburn Software is expanding its client base, product line and its resources to continue to cater for the local market, from sole traders to larger corporations and the international market.
