The Ananda Marga Yoga Society is introducing a public service based on yoga and natural therapies.

The objective is to overcome problems caused by excess fat, stress and disease and to become physically fit, mentally relaxed and fully conscious.

The system centres around six steps everyone can easily introduce in their life: water, diet, fasting, yoga, natural remedies and meditation.

The society offers several programmes through which people can learn more about a healthy lifestyle. From September 6 to 10, a full seminar on the six steps is being held at Xrobb l-Għaġin Sustianability Centre (www.yogameditationmalta.org).

Separately, there are regular classes at the society’s Gżira centre at 84, St Albert Sreet. The centre’s teachers are also ready to offer free consultations to those interested in natural health living.

The lead organiser is a yoga and meditation instructor from Denmark, Karl Andersson, who has 30 years of experience. He grew up in a family of yoga and natural foods and is passionate about assisting people adopt a healthier lifestyle.
