The Malta Institute of Professional Photography (MIPP) and UK-based Society for Weddings and Portrait Photography recently held an international seminar led by UK photographer Marko Dutka.

The two-day seminar focused on lighting techniques, with lectures entitled ‘Let there be light’ and ‘Revelation’.

Practical sessions were held both indoors and outdoors, giving delegates the opportunity to tackle different lighting situations.

MIPP is celebrating its 15th anniversary and will be holding a number of events throughout the year, including its annual three-day international conference in October.

A day-long seminar led by Italian photojournalist Lorenzo di Pietro is being offered free to MIPP members in June. More information and an event schedule can be found at www.mipp-malta.com.
