As part of a project entitled ‘Dignity for domestic violence survivors’, co-financed through the European Social Fund, the Commission on Domestic Violence will be organising a seminar for employers, to sensitise owners, directors and managers on how domestic violence may affect their business and employees at the workplace.

The seminar will be a breakfast meeting at Hotel Juliani, St Julian’s on October 19, from 8.30 to 10 a.m.

A study carried out this year clearly indicates that one in four women have suffered or are suffering from one form of domestic violence or other in Malta. These people are of all ages and across all social strata.

For more information and to register, e-mail domesticviolence@gov.mt or call 2368 7245. Registration is complimentary and is being offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
