The Malta Information Technology Agency will be holding the first Information Security Expo tomorrow with the aim of raising awareness on security issues.

Executive chairman Tony Sultana said the increase in the ICT profile made it more of a target for the underworld.

“Mita has been actively working with industry not only to better protect the Maltese Government ICT systems but also to promote ICT security on our island,” he added.

Economic Growth Parliamentary Secretary José Herrera said the government had to continue facilitating interaction between citizens, business and the State through electronic forms (eForms).
