Some months ago I wrote in The Times of the poor service by Malta Dairy Products regarding the production of vanilla milkshake, only to be contacted by customer care and assured that the production was to continue regularly.

I feel I was taken for a ride. This because of the hiccups in finding this product. Moreover, for the last two weeks, at least, no vanilla milkshake was produced; the last production was on March 26. On April 4, I once again called the sales department and spoke to the manager complaining of the poor service.

When I again complained and pointed out that this meant that the production was dropped to once every two weeks, the lady said that this was at the discretion of the production manager.

It is very sad be to the mercy of a person who seems to be the one who decides when to produce vanilla products while at the same time banana, strawberry and chocolate are always available.

The funny side of all this is that vanilla milkshake is very much in demand, so much so that the minute it is delivered it is all taken up.
