Season 2011/12 will be officially archived today when the Malta FA holds its annual general meeting at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, starting at 9.30 a.m.

The main items on the agenda are the approval of the association’s administrative and financial reports for the year 2011/12 and the election of the ordinary members of the Executive Committee.

The AGM will bring the curtains down on the second year of Norman Darmanin Demajo’s tenure as MFA president.

Darmanin Demajo was elected to the top post in Maltese football in 2010 after defeating Joe Mifsud who had been at the helm of the MFA for 18 years.

The three-year term of Darmanin Demajo and the other top MFA officials, namely the three vice-presidents Carmelo Bartolo, Alex Manfrè and Ludovigo Micallef, and treasurer Antoine Portelli, expires next year.
