The University of Malta wants to get in touch with more than 30,000 graduates – the oldest dating back to the class of 1937 – to join its online alumni community.
In the coming days, graduates who have not already registered online will receive a letter and instructions on how to activate their University of Malta IT account for alumni.
Activation will give alumni easy access to their personal University records and the opportunity to search for their graduate peers and other alumni to set up interest groups and organise get-togethers.
The University will itself be able to link up with its graduates in Malta and abroad to devise networking possibilities by keeping them updated, connected and informed.
The University has about 30,000 living graduates dating back to as far back as the class of 1937. Those who graduated before 1996 may not receive the letter if the University was unable to obtain their present postal address and are being requested to register at www.um.edu.mt/alumni. For more information contact Angela Xuereb at Communications and Alumni Relations Office on 2340 2163 or via e-mail at alumni@um.edu.mt.
