Antonio Belvedere, from Renzo Piano’s office, is reported to have cried when he learnt about the placing of the monti stalls near the new Parliament building (January 31).

I am sure that there are many more Maltese citizens who have cried their eyes out over the whole project with which we have been burdened: the gateless entrance to a fortress city, the cheese-grater of the Parliament building together with the roofless theatre, which is only used on very few instances.
