Electrical engineer Jonathan Scerri has been appointed as Wateserv’s CEO with immediate effect, replacing Saviour Abela, the company said yesterday.
Mr Scerri, 38, has graduated in electrical engineering in 1996 and has recently obtained his Masters of Science in Renewable Energy Technology from Loughborough University.
He has over 16 years experience in technical and leadership roles, particularly in plant operations, within both the public and private sectors.
He has worked in the fields of electricity generation and distribution for nine years and joins Wasteserv after eight years in managerial positions within the manufacturing industry.
