Brazilian giants Santos won the Copa Libertadores with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Uruguay’s Penarol in the final. After a goalless first leg in Montevideo last week, second-half goals from Neymar and Danilo helped Muricy Ramalho’s side lift the trophy for the third time. The post-match celebrations were marred by pitch invasions, with players from both sides caught up in the fracas, before Santos were able to celebrate their first Libertadores title since 1963.
