The government’s approval of the Collective Action Act last month marked “a sad day for business”, the Chamber for Small and Medium Enterprises – GRTU said yesterday.

It said that, without additional safeguards, this consumer protection law would threaten existing enterprises and new investment.

The GRTU intends to take legal action against this “discrimination”.
