Christian Democrat Students (SDM) presented seven NGOs a total of €7,000 that it collected as part of its Project 7000 campaign, which is now in its third year. The money was presented to Puttinu Cares, Caritas, Inspire, SPCA, Lifecycle, Friends of the Earth and Id-Dar tal-Providenza. Photos show SDM officials presenting the funds to representatives of Puttinu Cares (top) and Caritas. The SDM recently launched a new campaign entitled ‘Draw the Line’ aimed at fighting bullying. In the coming three months SDM will conduct an online survey on bullying among youths, hold talks and discussions and carry out a social media campaign to increase awareness on the topic and subsequently draw up a policy document proposing ways to tackle the problem.
