Scores of people yesterday had a go at rowing the traditional dgħajsa tal-pass at the Valletta Waterfront, where the National Regatta Association was collecting money for L-Istrina. The event, called Qadfa mill-Qalb, is the first of its kind, and if it proves successful the association will hold a similar event next year. Rowers and members from the committees of Marsamxett, Marsa, Senglea, Cospicua, Vittoriosa, Kalkara and Birżebbuġa were at the Waterfront to show people how to row the traditional boat.
