Inizjamed is today organising its 22nd Open Mic – Palk Ħieles in Valletta.

The intimate setting of a music bar will host poet Adrian Grima, the brains behind Inizjamed and the Mediterranean Literature Festival, who will read halfway through the evening.

Before or after his participation, one is free to  read a poem, a story, do any kind of stand-up, sing an original song or anything else they deem fit to express themselves. Any dialect or language is welcome.

The event is taking place today at the recently-opened Offbeat at 106, Merchants Street, Valletta, from 8 to 10.30pm. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
