Rock music fans will surely be pleased at the recent surge in live events that have started sprouting up in perfect timing for the summer season, and even better is the news that these events are presenting multiple band line-ups at affordable prices.

Friday sees the launch of Farmyard Blitz, a new live event that seeks to present a variety of metal and rock genres, with a particular eye on the local underground scene too.

And what better way to do it than by putting on a five-band billing, featuring some of the best rocking talent on the island, from the classic metal sound of 12th Ode, mindblowing prog from Saneless Feel, explosive Thrash from War Trigger, vibrant ska/ punk from BNI and last but not least, a riveting Green Day covers set from 50 Shades Of Green.

It’s all happening at the Razzett l-Aħmar in Mosta, which has plenty of parking space in the vicinity. Doors open at 9pm, with enough time to kick back and relax in the surroundings, perhaps even grab bite to eat, while listening to some music, until the first band takes the stage at 10.30pm.
