Dear Anthony and all the families Felicia and Calamatta,

How sad to lose not just a father but a true gentleman who has shown us all great respect throughout his exemplary life.

Iz-Ziju Robbie was always a reference point to us all on how to find true happiness in life by loving all, forgiving all and sharing with all even when we all had just a little to go around.

I remember when we lived in Ħamrun we frequently walked to the MMU, the milk bottling factory where he worked on Sundays.

But what was always so prominently printed in my mind was the photo your mother had proudly displayed at the entrance to your house of him in the full regalia of the army uniform of which he was so proud.

Anthony, although expected, your mail still shocked me because as long as he held on to life we could say that such gentlemen existed... now we have to talk in the past tense.

He will have a lot of stories to relate to his loving wife, auntie Stella, but I am sure that he will dwell at length on how he loved being cared for by you and on how you had the courage to dedicate a great part of your life to a father who loved his family so much that he was the envy and admiration of us all.  I am sure that he will mention us to the Lord above and I am confident that his recommendation will serve us all a good purpose and hopefully endorse our own ticket in heaven.

God Bless you Ziju Robbie... please pray for us.
